Senior Communications Business Partner pRED

Roche seeks a Senior Communications Business Partner in Basel to serve as a strategic adviser within the pRED Leadership Team, translating business strategy into impactful communication plans for internal and external audiences.

This position functions as a central strategic advisor within the pRED Communications unit, which operates as a high-impact team of business partners. The role requires serving as a core member of at least one pRED Leadership Team, ensuring that communication strategies are deeply integrated into the company's business decision-making processes.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted strategic advisor and key member of a designated pRED Leadership Team.
• Convert business strategies into effective communication plans.
• Advise senior executives and embed communication considerations into business decisions.
• Direct and implement both internal and external communication strategies.
• Coordinate with a global network to maintain a consistent communication approach.
• Guide communication efforts related to organizational transformation and development.
• Lead communication initiatives focused on behavioral and cultural shifts.
• Collaborate with colleagues across Roche Group Communications.
• Partner with the broader Pharma Communications team to develop exceptional communication materials.

Requirements

• Minimum of eight years of experience in scientific, technical, or corporate communications within the pharmaceutical, biotech, or similarly regulated sectors.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in fields such as Journalism, Communications, Science, or Business.
• Demonstrated success in navigating matrixed environments and advising C-level executives.
• Fluent proficiency in English.
• Willingness to travel internationally up to 20% of the time.

Nice to have

• Prior experience in science or healthcare communications.
• Master's degree.
• German language proficiency.
