Head of Finance & Human Resources

Diamond SA seeks a Senior Head of Finance & Human Resources in Losone, Switzerland. This on-site role oversees finance, accounting, budgeting, and HR operations while collaborating directly with senior leadership.

The company is looking for an experienced professional to lead its Finance and Human Resources functions within a technology-focused Swiss SME. In this position, you will manage budgeting, controlling, and HR activities while working closely with the board and senior management to align strategic goals with daily operations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all financial and accounting tasks, including budgeting, controlling, and preparing annual financial statements.
• Develop liquidity plans, manage controlling processes, and provide regular reports to the Board of Directors and senior leadership.
• Lead and develop the Finance and Human Resources departments, ensuring smooth daily operations.
• Manage HR functions such as recruitment, employee development, payroll processing, and adherence to labor law.
• Ensure compliance with legal requirements and internal company guidelines.
• Act as the primary contact for external partners, including auditors, trustees, and government agencies.
• Supervise the small Finance & HR team to maintain high performance and efficiency.

Requirements

• Hold an advanced degree in finance or business administration.
• Possess several years of experience in finance and accounting, with prior management experience preferred.
• Demonstrate strong knowledge of Swiss labor and social security regulations.
• Show excellent interpersonal skills, integrity, and an entrepreneurial mindset.
• Be a native German speaker with very good proficiency in Italian and English.
• Reside in Switzerland at the time of application.
