Head of IT – Pharmaceutical Systems

Responsibilities

• Lead IT strategy and digital transformation initiatives for pharmaceutical operations.
• Manage GxP-compliant IT systems including LIMS, ERP, MES, and QMS platforms.
• Ensure data integrity and 21 CFR Part 11 / Annex 11 compliance across all systems.
• Oversee IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, and cloud migration projects.
• Manage IT budget, vendor relationships, and a team of IT professionals.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• 10+ years of IT experience with at least 5 years in pharmaceutical/life sciences.
• Deep understanding of GxP regulations and computerized system validation.
• Experience with SAP, Veeva, TrackWise, and laboratory informatics platforms.
• Strong leadership and change management capabilities.

• MBA is a plus.
