MSD is seeking an HR Intern in Luzern to support its international team with administrative tasks, documentation, and mobility processes within a diverse and inclusive environment.
This internship places the candidate within an international HR team at a global pharmaceutical company. The position aims to add value to patients and business stakeholders by supporting core HR functions and fostering a culture centered on diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Responsibilities
- Manage employment-related documentation and maintain personnel files.
- Create content for HR communications, including emails, newsletters, and the internal portal.
- Assist with global mobility processes for cases involving movement into or out of Switzerland.
- Provide general administrative support to the HR department.
- Direct employees and managers to appropriate HR resources and collaborate with internal stakeholders.
- Help organize HR team meetings.
- Keep HR records, including those on the HR drive, SharePoint, and the internal portal, clean and organized.
- Handle ad-hoc tasks and projects as needed by the business or aligned with personal interests.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Human Resources, Law, Psychology, Business Management, or possess equivalent work experience.
- Strong written and verbal proficiency in both German and English.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, and MS Teams.
- A well-organized and structured approach to work with a strong attention to detail.

- Knowledge of French or Italian languages.
