Breitling seeks an HR Specialist for apprenticeship and vocational training in Grenchen. The role supports commercial apprentices, coordinates with schools and authorities, and ensures compliance with training requirements.
This position operates within a specialized team dedicated to shaping the future of Swiss watchmaking, a craft with roots dating back to 1884. The primary focus is guiding commercial apprentices through their entire training period, serving as the central point of contact for trainees, their supervisors, and department managers.
Responsibilities
- Guide apprentices from initial recruitment through onboarding and final graduation.
- Serve as the primary resource for trainees regarding administrative and HR inquiries.
- Provide guidance to trainers and managers on daily apprentice supervision.
- Track apprentice development and introduce support strategies as necessary.
- Build and sustain partnerships with vocational schools, cantonal bodies, and external training organizations.
- Manage apprenticeship workflows and keep precise records and documentation.
- Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and administrative tasks for training programs.
- Provide general administrative support to the broader HR department.
- Maintain adherence to internal regulations and vocational training standards.
- Partner with HR staff, managers, and trainers across the organization.
- Facilitate administrative communication with educational institutions and authorities to ensure program efficiency.
- Participate in projects aimed at improving the apprentice experience and educational outcomes.
Requirements
- Background in human resources, vocational training, apprenticeship coordination, or a related area.
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal communication abilities.
- Willingness to travel occasionally within Switzerland.
- Passion for mentoring and supporting young professionals.
- Proactive, solution-focused mindset with the ability to handle multiple tasks.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with HR software.
- Fluency in English, French, and German.
