Julius Bär seeks a Senior IDMC Implementation Lead in Zürich to drive enterprise data governance, cataloging, and quality initiatives through technical implementation and process design.
This position focuses on advancing the firm's data ecosystem by implementing robust governance and quality frameworks. The role aims to create lasting value by ensuring data integrity and accessibility, supporting the company's broader goals in wealth management and beyond.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the technical deployment of the Enterprise Data Management Ecosystem using IDMC, with a primary focus on governance, cataloging, and quality modules.
- Develop and sustain the metamodel, integrating both conceptual and physical data structures.
- Configure IDMC workflows and user interfaces, including dashboards and search functionalities.
- Connect Data Quality mechanisms with Data Governance and Catalog systems.
- Design and execute Cloud Application Integration (CAI) processes.
- Assist with Reference Data design and implementation where applicable.
- Document infrastructure, security protocols, and operational assets.
- Manage identity and access management (IAM) packages and role assignments.
Requirements
- Extensive background in Cloud Data Governance and Catalog (CDGC) or Axon Data Governance, alongside experience with Metadata command centres.
- Demonstrated expertise in data modelling and data management practices.
- Ability to interpret business needs, document requirements clearly, and translate technical concepts into business-friendly language.
- Skill in mapping business requirements to appropriate technical solutions within the toolset.
- Capacity to configure implementations and mentor team members during deployment.
- Experience in planning new services, features, and workflow automation.
- Relevant certifications in Data Governance and Catalog are expected.
- Strong self-motivation and collaborative team spirit.
- Customer-focused mindset aimed at delivering organizational solutions.
- Fluent proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with Cloud Application Integration (CAI), Cloud Data Integration (CDI), Data Quality profiling, and Data Marketplace.
- Proficiency in the German language.
