Innovation Project Manager (MedTech / Surgical Training)

SYNBONE AG seeks an Innovation Project Manager in Zizers to commercialize its Smart SYNBONE research into a scalable surgical training platform. The role blends MedTech and education, driving business planning and market validation.

This position bridges MedTech and surgical education by transforming the Smart SYNBONE research initiative into a commercial, scalable training platform. The role focuses on business planning, market validation, and commercialization at the intersection of these fields.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the complete transition from prototype to a market-ready solution
• Establish a sustainable business and revenue model
• Convert clinical education requirements into digital training products and services
• Create the business plan and oversee the product roadmap, milestones, timelines, and budget
• Coordinate cross-functional teams and external partners
• Develop business models, value propositions, and partnership frameworks
• Manage collaborations with software providers, MedTech partners, universities, and medical education institutions

Requirements

• MSc/BSc in Engineering or Business administration with a strong technical background
• ≥5 years project leadership in international, cross-functional teams
• Professional Level in English and German
• Excellent negotiations and collaboration skills
• Self-driven and entrepreneurial skills
• Ability to work in a small team
• Know how in surgical / orthopedic markets
• Background in medical training or education
• Experience in commercialization in global markets
