Splint Invest seeks an Investment Intern for Alternative Assets in Bern to support the team with data management, valuation updates, and investor materials in a hybrid setup.
This internship provides hands-on support for the investment team, focusing on the management, documentation, and analysis of alternative assets. The role is designed to help candidates understand how real assets such as art, vehicles, wine, and whisky are valued and traded, starting from small investment thresholds.
Responsibilities
- Create and update a central database containing auction results and benchmark figures.
- Keep benchmark data current and prepare valuation updates for the analysis team.
- Coordinate asset onboarding processes and organize feedback from subject matter experts.
- Draft investor materials, including booklets and internal presentation decks.
- Develop skills in analyzing real assets, conducting basic due diligence, and applying valuation methods.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in or recently completed studies in Finance, Economics, Business, or Data Science.
- Demonstrated attention to detail and a structured approach to tasks.
- Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets.
- Strong written and spoken English communication skills.
Nice to have
- Ability to communicate in German or French.
- Personal interest in alternative assets such as art, wine, or collectibles.
