IT Business Process Engineer (AMOS)

AMAC Aerospace seeks an IT Business Process Engineer to manage and support its AMOS ERP system, ensuring smooth integration and operational efficiency across its global sites.

This position sits within the IT Business Processes team and focuses on driving internal integration projects to expand AMOS usage and streamline business workflows. The engineer provides technical support for the AMOS ERP system and related satellite technologies to business users throughout the AMAC group.

Responsibilities

• Configure and administer the AMOS ERP system, including satellite devices and solutions, to ensure daily operational stability.
• Identify, communicate, and coordinate necessary adjustments to business processes.
• Define user requirements and lead or assist in integration projects related to AMOS.
• Deliver training sessions and create documentation for AMOS-related processes.
• Provide comprehensive support for AMOS operations at AMAC Switzerland, Turkey, and JCB Aero.
• Analyze incidents, diagnose root causes, and resolve or escalate issues as needed.
• Manage project tasks, support cases, and changes within the AMAC IT Service Management Tool.
• Assist end users with AMOS-related tasks and inquiries.
• Ensure end users adhere to local working standards through training, guidance, and established concepts.
• Conduct daily checks on the AMOS client.
• Maintain basic data information within AMOS.
• Configure hardware settings in AMOS for peripherals such as label printers, scanners, and badge readers.

Requirements

• Fluency in English.
• At least 3 years of experience as an AMOS Administrator or key user.
• Deep understanding of Part 145 MRO processes.
• An independent and inquiring attitude with strong teamwork capabilities.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Proficient knowledge of MS Office applications.
• Experience in conducting user trainings and creating documentation.

Nice to have

• Fluency in French and/or German.
• Experience with Part 21G or Part 21J regulations.
• Skills in SQL, ETL, or Business Intelligence.
