IT Finance Analyst

Jet Aviation seeks an IT Finance Analyst in Basel to design and support SAP S/4HANA FICO solutions, bridging technical configuration with financial business processes.

This position focuses on the design, configuration, and ongoing support of financial systems, with a primary emphasis on SAP S/4HANA FICO. The analyst partners directly with business users to resolve operational challenges and develop forward-looking SAP solutions that align with organizational goals.

Responsibilities

• Design and configure end-to-end SAP S/4HANA FICO solutions tailored to specific business requirements.
• Ensure smooth integration between SAP modules and external third-party systems.
• Manage project delivery phases, including solution design, configuration, testing, and documentation.
• Provide ongoing user support and implement enhancements for SAP FI/CO modules.
• Support additional finance tools such as Basware for accounts payable, Concur for travel and expenses, and planning/consolidation platforms.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to systems, data integrity, and business processes.
• Collaborate closely with Finance, Controlling, Operations, and other functional teams.
• Translate business needs into effective technical solutions.
• Offer guidance on SAP best practices and design standards.
• Contribute to high-quality project execution and continuous service improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience in IT.
• At least 5 years of hands-on configuration experience with SAP S/4HANA Financials.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in full lifecycle S/4HANA implementations, including New GL.
• Solid expertise in SAP FI & CO areas: GL/New GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, and COPA.
• Strong understanding of finance and controlling business processes.
• Experience working in virtual and international environments.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• SAP S/4HANA FICO certification.
• Ability to lead projects and support non-SAP applications.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Basware, Concur, or other financial applications.
• Familiarity with SOX methodology.
• Experience with Microsoft tools such as Project and Visio.
