Solutions Analyst

Jet Aviation seeks a Senior Solutions Analyst in Basel to lead IT solution improvements for MRO operations, focusing on SAP S/4 iMRO support and process optimization.

This position serves as an IT Solution Analyst for Sales and Distribution (SD) and Bill of Work (BoW) systems. The primary objective is to enhance IT applications within the Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) sector, driving operational transformation and meaningful change in aviation workflows.

Responsibilities

• Manage second and third-level SAP support to ensure smooth IT operations, including coordinating interfaces with non-SAP systems.
• Partner with business subject matter experts to design future business processes based on industry best practices.
• Lead and execute small to medium-sized projects and operational changes.
• Create technical documentation, including specifications, work instructions, and training materials.
• Conduct system configurations, testing, and training for key users to maximize system effectiveness.
• Verify that local customizations do not interfere with future iMRO product releases.
• Collaborate with internal IT teams, customers, and external vendors to promote innovation.
• Provide guidance and support to inspire team members.

Requirements

• Over ten years of experience in supporting, implementing, and rolling out S4 iMRO Aircraft Maintenance in ECC and S/4 environments.
• Deep expertise in iMRO, BoW, and component repair, including integration with cloud solutions and modules such as SD, MM, and FI.
• Strong background in SAP SD, PS, and MM.
• Experience working within large-scale international MRO project structures.
• Bachelor’s degree in information technology or a related discipline.
• Ability to perform system configuration tasks independently and accurately.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Proactive and hands-on approach to work.
• Motivation to learn new processes in a global environment, including satellite systems.
• Attention to compliance and audit requirements.
• Excellent communication skills and process-oriented thinking, with strong documentation abilities.
• Fluency in English.
