IT Internal Auditor (80-100%)

Lombard Odier IM seeks a Senior IT Internal Auditor in Geneva to evaluate information system controls and support business audits with technical expertise.

This position is responsible for assessing and strengthening the governance, security, and control frameworks of the organization’s information systems. The role also supports broader business audit missions by providing specialized IT insights and perspectives.

Responsibilities

• Execute and assist with IT audit projects covering governance, application controls, and general IT controls.
• Lead or participate in reviews of IT security, governance frameworks, identity management, and project implementations.
• Create and deploy data analytics solutions to improve audit efficiency and support risk assessment activities.
• Draft clear audit reports and present key findings to senior leadership and relevant committees.
• Track the progress of audit recommendations and ensure remediation actions are completed.
• Help shape the annual audit plan and drive continuous improvement within the Internal Audit department.
• Share knowledge and best practices with team members.

Requirements

• Master’s or engineering degree in Information Technology, Information Systems Management, or a related discipline.
• At least five years of professional experience in IT, IS management, or IT security.
• Robust technical knowledge across multiple domains, including Windows, UNIX/Linux, databases, networking, software development, and cloud architecture.
• Fluent written and verbal communication skills in both English and French.
• Must hold Swiss domicile.

Nice to have

• Professional certifications such as CISA, CISSP, CISM, CRISC, or equivalent.
• Experience with standards like ISO 27001, COBIT, NIST, and RISK IT.
• Understanding of regulatory requirements including GDPR, Swiss Data Protection Law, and FINMA circulars.
