IT Project Manager (temporary 21 months)

Solvias seeks a Senior IT Project Manager for a 21-month fixed-term role to lead IT initiatives, including the Chromeleon project, ensuring delivery within scope, budget, and quality standards.

The company is hiring for a temporary position lasting 21 months. In this capacity, the incumbent will oversee and coordinate all IT project activities, with specific responsibility for the Chromeleon initiative. The role serves as the central point of contact for stakeholders, ensuring that technical deliverables align with business objectives and organizational standards.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with senior leadership and business managers to define project scope, goals, and key deliverables.
• Create comprehensive project plans that outline timelines, milestones, and necessary resource distribution.
• Oversee project execution to guarantee adherence to established budgets, schedules, and scope parameters.
• Serve as the main liaison for stakeholders, managing expectations and ensuring alignment with project goals.
• Facilitate clear communication and collaboration among team members to support project success.
• Provide guidance and support to team members to help them achieve their assigned objectives.
• Conduct regular status meetings to provide transparent updates on progress and outcomes.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate potential risks and issues, developing contingency plans and corrective actions as needed.
• Ensure proactive problem-solving and effective conflict resolution within the project team.
• Leverage deep knowledge of IT infrastructure, software development, and system integration to provide technical guidance.
• Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices to inform project strategies.
• Ensure all deliverables meet quality standards through regular reviews, audits, and compliance checks.
• Implement and oversee testing and validation processes to verify project specifications.
• Manage project budgets, including cost estimation, tracking, and financial reporting.
• Optimize resource utilization and ensure efficient allocation of project assets.
• Negotiate with vendors and manage contracts when necessary.
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including plans, reports, and logs.
• Prepare and present detailed project reports to senior management and stakeholders.
• Document project lessons learned and best practices for future reference.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• At least five years of proven experience as an IT Project Manager.
• Proficiency in project management software, such as Microsoft Project.
• Familiarity with various development methodologies, including Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall.
• Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
