Baer AG seeks a Junior Compliance Officer for Market Abuse Monitoring in Zürich. The role supports global insider monitoring and trade surveillance within the Financial & Capital Markets Compliance team.
This position places you within the Financial & Capital Markets Compliance team as a Market Abuse Monitoring Specialist. You will assist with global insider monitoring and trade surveillance efforts, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards across various jurisdictions.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate alerts and manage reporting and escalation processes for potential market abuse incidents on a global scale.
- Conduct regulatory risk assessments related to market abuse to help identify and escalate suspicious trading activities across different locations.
- Collaborate with international and cross-functional teams, such as Group General Counsel and Global Compliance, to strengthen adherence to global market regulations and maintain best execution practices.
- Update and align internal frameworks with changing regulatory requirements to ensure consistent compliance and operational excellence across all jurisdictions.
Requirements
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Economics, Mathematics, or (Business) Law.
- Demonstrate strong communication abilities in both German and English.
Nice to have
- Previous professional experience within a banking environment is considered a plus.
