Casale is seeking a Junior Software Engineer for an internship within its Digital Department. The role focuses on migrating or developing software solutions using C# and Java, collaborating with an international team in Lugano.
This internship position is embedded within the Digital Department's Enterprise Application Section. The primary objective involves supporting the transition away from a legacy corporate software solution. The successful candidate will work alongside an international team to drive this technical initiative forward.
Responsibilities
- Develop new code or migrate existing REST APIs using C# and Java.
- Create and update technical documentation to support project activities.
- Utilize Atlassian platforms, such as Jira, to oversee and track project progress.
Requirements
- Hold a recent degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related discipline.
- Demonstrate fluent proficiency in Italian.
- Maintain a good command of the English language.
- Possess foundational knowledge of Java and C#, including microservice patterns and REST APIs.
- Understand database management using SQL and/or MongoDB.

- Experience or academic background with Atlassian tools.
- Ability to foster strong working relationships both internally and externally.
- Self-driven, organized, and enthusiastic about learning new technologies.
