Avesco seeks a Senior Lead Project Manager for Power Systems in Langenthal, CH. The role involves overseeing standby power projects in Switzerland, managing costs and schedules, and acting as the main customer contact.

The company is looking for an experienced professional to independently manage standby power projects across Switzerland. This position requires overseeing the entire project lifecycle from initial planning through to final handover, while maintaining full accountability for budget adherence and timeline delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the complete execution of standby power projects within Switzerland, ensuring smooth transitions from planning stages to final delivery.
  • Maintain full accountability for the financial budgets and timelines of all assigned projects.
  • Act as the main point of contact for clients while liaising with external suppliers.
  • Collaborate closely with internal sales teams, workshop staff, and service technicians to guarantee precise technical execution.
  • Uphold established project management standards to ensure clear documentation and accurate reporting.
  • Lead technical and commercial discussions with a focus on achieving objectives and maintaining professionalism.

Requirements

  • Hold a higher technical degree in Civil Engineering (HVAC), Mechanical Engineering, Building Technology, or a similar field.
  • Demonstrate several years of successful project management experience within a technical sector.
  • Possess strong knowledge of project management methodologies, preferably with certifications such as IPMA, PMP, or HERMES.
  • Communicate fluently in German and English; knowledge of French is advantageous.
  • Work in a self-directed, organized, and business-minded manner.
  • Present a confident demeanor with strong communication and negotiation abilities.

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of French is considered an advantage.
