Philip Morris Services SA seeks a Manager for Benefits, Investment & Pension in Lausanne to oversee global pension governance, investment performance, and actuarial reporting within the Corporate Treasury department.

This position sits within the PMI Corporate Treasury team and is responsible for the management, investment oversight, and governance of the company’s worldwide pension plans. The role ensures strong financial control and supports strategic initiatives related to global retirement programs.

Responsibilities

  • Review pension plan designs and funding structures to optimize retirement outcomes and mitigate associated risks.
  • Collaborate with local teams, external consultants, trustees, insurers, and service providers on various pension projects.
  • Help select and monitor the performance of pension service providers.
  • Track legal, regulatory, and market changes that impact pension plans.
  • Monitor investment performance for both Defined Benefit (DB) and Defined Contribution (DC) plans.
  • Prepare investment reviews and reporting materials for pension and investment committees.
  • Analyze investment strategies, asset allocation studies, and risk management initiatives.
  • Work with external investment consultants and asset managers to gather and analyze investment data and recommendations.
  • Assess new investment opportunities and pension risk mitigation solutions.
  • Contribute to Asset Liability Management (ALM) studies and funding analyses.
  • Support annual actuarial valuation activities and define global key actuarial assumptions.
  • Review pension accounting results under US GAAP and other relevant standards.
  • Monitor funding levels, cash flows, pension expenses, and investment performance across global plans.
  • Assist with quarterly and year-end financial reporting, including budget forecasts, contributions, and 10K disclosures.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and analyses for senior management and governance committees.
  • Maintain robust governance frameworks and documentation for pension plans globally.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Actuarial Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3–6 years of professional experience in Finance.
  • Fluency in both written and spoken English.

Nice to have

  • Experience in pension and retirement benefits, actuarial consulting, or institutional investments.
