Manager - Management Consulting

Teneo AG seeks a Manager for Management Consulting to lead project delivery, mentor junior staff, and support business development in a fast-paced, on-site environment.

This position serves as a core contributor within the Teneo Consulting practice, driving project execution under the guidance of senior leadership while actively coaching less experienced team members. The role demands a blend of sharp analytical reasoning, commercial awareness, and people management to ensure top-tier results for clients.

Responsibilities

• Direct smaller engagements or major workstreams within larger contracts.
• Oversee intricate research initiatives to produce valuable client insights and polished written reports.
• Formulate data-backed recommendations, refining them alongside senior staff and clients.
• Manage daily case team operations, including task distribution, coaching, and professional growth of junior staff.
• Assist Directors and Managing Directors with business development efforts, such as creating proposals, generating thought leadership, and participating in pitches.
• Foster strong relationships with senior client contacts, handling routine communications and addressing concerns.
• Facilitate client workshops and presentations, translating complex concepts for executive audiences.

Requirements

• Hold a bachelor's degree or higher in any field.
• Possess 5 to 7 years of relevant experience in strategy consulting, management consulting, or advisory roles.
• Exhibit robust analytical, problem-solving, and quantitative abilities.
• Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication proficiency.
• Show proven background in leadership, collaboration, and mentoring others.
• Excel at stakeholder management, influencing, and relationship-building, thriving in dynamic settings.
• Quickly build credibility and establish productive working relationships.
• Maintain high attention to detail and a proactive stance toward new challenges.
