Manager Systems Engineering, PU EW

Saab Bofors Dynamics Switzerland Ltd seeks a Manager for Systems Engineering within the Product Unit Electronic Warfare to lead the System Management department and oversee system development projects.

The company is looking for a leader to direct the System Management department within the Electronic Warfare Product Unit. In this role, you will provide strategic guidance for system, safety, and configuration engineers while holding overall responsibility for the development, delivery, and maintenance of customer projects.

Responsibilities

• Align departmental goals with the broader organizational strategy.
• Develop and apply best practices to enhance the quality and efficiency of Systems Engineering processes.
• Foster collaboration and secure stakeholder buy-in across teams.
• Lead operational and strategic initiatives to ensure high-quality, efficient delivery and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in leadership and line management.
• Background in Systems Engineering, product development lifecycles, and a strong grasp of technical systems.
• Master of Science in Engineering or a related discipline.
• Fluency in both written and spoken English and Swedish.
• Ability to pass a security vetting according to current regulations.
