Roger Dubuis seeks a Senior Technical Manager to lead the target technology architecture for Richemont’s SAP S/4HANA migration, ensuring a scalable and simplified ERP landscape.
This position supports Richemont’s multi-year initiative to streamline business processes and technology ahead of the SAP S/4HANA transition. The Technical Manager is responsible for defining the future technology landscape, establishing governance foundations, and shaping the architectural path that enables a successful, business-led ERP transformation across the group.
Responsibilities
- Define the target technology architecture for the SAP S/4HANA environment, including the core ERP system, satellite applications, integrations, and extensions.
- Develop a scalable architecture blueprint that aligns with group principles and the clean-core strategy, translating simplification decisions into technical reality.
- Establish clear ERP boundaries to ensure consistency between legacy systems being removed and new solutions being built or externalized.
- Lead the integration and extensibility strategy, covering APIs, middleware, and event-driven patterns.
- Evaluate technical feasibility, dependencies, and sequencing to ground strategic ambitions in practical constraints.
- Create technology principles, architectural guardrails, and inputs necessary for Solution Design.
- Collaborate with product and technical teams to enhance SAP S/4HANA capabilities and ensure decisions are technically sound.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in large-scale ERP and platform transformations, with mandatory expertise in SAP S/4HANA.
- Proven background in technical architecture within complex organizational environments.
- Deep knowledge of designing hybrid landscapes involving ERP systems, data platforms, integrations, and cloud services.
- Ability to communicate effectively with senior technology and business leaders, including executive committees.
- Experience working in international, multi-entity, or multi-brand settings.
- Strong command of SAP S/4HANA architecture patterns, clean-core principles, and extensibility models.
- Comprehensive understanding of integration architectures, APIs, middleware, and SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).
- Skill in translating legacy constraints and simplification goals into forward-looking architectural choices.
- Strong analytical abilities to evaluate technology trade-offs regarding standardization, flexibility, and cost.
- Structured approach to decision-making, prioritizing long-term operability and scalability.
- Systems thinking capabilities with a focus on long-term impact.
