IQVIA AG seeks a Mid-level Resource Effectiveness Specialist in Switzerland to manage headcount, track resource utilization, and ensure data accuracy across enterprise systems.

This position focuses on the operational management of resource capacity and data integrity. The specialist will oversee headcount planning, monitor bandwidth availability, and collaborate with management to ensure that resource data remains accurate and aligned with business forecasts.

Responsibilities

• Oversee monthly headcount planning by comparing existing staff, new hires, and attrition against budget and forecast targets.
• Monitor team movements, ensuring new joiners are properly profiled in enterprise systems and tracking leavers.
• Maintain up-to-date resource data, including rate cards, utilization goals, and team structures.
• Coordinate periodic skills assessments, analyzing the results to report on workforce capabilities.
• Update project assignments and schedules within enterprise tools to reflect current resource allocations.
• Analyze bandwidth and availability using enterprise platforms and AI-driven insights to support planning.
• Partner with Resource and Line managers in regular reviews to validate the accuracy of resource data.
• Create standard and ad-hoc reports and dashboards covering headcount, utilization, compliance, and availability.
• Monitor contractor extension timelines to ensure continuity of staffing.
• Track and report on non-billable hours for management review.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Sciences, Commerce, or Engineering.
• 2 to 4 years of experience in Business Operations, PMO, or Resource Management within a multinational corporation.
• Proven experience using enterprise HR, Finance, or Resource Management applications.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong command of written and verbal English.
• Competence in Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, and other Microsoft Office tools.
• Familiarity with SharePoint, OneNote, and TEAMS.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and logical reasoning skills.

Nice to have

• Background or exposure to Technology, Analytics, Data Management projects, or methodologies.
• Prior experience working in the Life Sciences or Pharmaceutical industry.
• Knowledge of Salesforce, particularly CRM and PSA modules.
• Experience with Business Intelligence (BI) tools or Large Language Models (LLMs).
