People Operations Specialist

Airapps is seeking a People Operations Specialist in Zürich to manage HR processes and end-to-end recruitment. The role ensures a compliant, people-first environment while supporting daily operations and hiring initiatives.

This position sits at the core of the human resources and recruiting functions, guaranteeing that people-related workflows run efficiently. The specialist helps maintain a structured, compliant, and employee-centric workplace by handling daily operations and supporting key initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Handle daily HR duties such as coordinating payroll, administering benefits, and managing employee records.
• Address employee questions regarding HR policies with clarity and empathy.
• Contribute to internal people programs and facilitate team communications.
• Develop and maintain internal documentation, including standard operating procedures and templates.
• Oversee the full recruitment cycle, from posting jobs and sourcing candidates to scheduling interviews.
• Partner with hiring managers to monitor hiring progress and keep the pipeline moving.
• Ensure a welcoming experience for candidates throughout the selection process.
• Organize onboarding activities to help new team members integrate smoothly.

Requirements

• At least two years of recruiting experience, covering sourcing, interviewing, and offer negotiation.
• Practical knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems, particularly Ashby.
• Strong proficiency with LinkedIn Recruiter and familiarity with other sourcing tools and engagement methods.
• Background in supporting HR operations like payroll, benefits, and employee services.
• Keen attention to detail and strong organizational abilities to juggle multiple tasks.
• Fluent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Nice to have

• Experience working in a consultancy or a fast-paced setting.
• Knowledge of Portuguese labor law.
• Ability to speak Portuguese.
