The company seeks a People & Culture Specialist for the Swiss market and owned retail operations. This mid-level, hybrid role supports HR processes, recruitment, and employee relations while collaborating with regional and global teams.
This position serves as the primary HR resource for the Swiss market, bridging corporate and retail functions. The specialist ensures that People & Culture frameworks are executed smoothly, assists leaders with team management, and helps shape the organizational culture. The role also involves stepping in for senior colleagues when necessary and partnering with broader regional and global P&C groups.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the main HR advisor for staff and managers within the Swiss operations.
- Guide People Leaders on team development, leadership strategies, and employee well-being.
- Execute core annual People & Culture cycles, including goal setting, performance evaluations, talent planning, engagement surveys, and follow-up actions.
- Guarantee that all HR activities follow both local regulations and global standards with consistency and efficiency.
- Manage the complete recruitment lifecycle for Swiss positions, from advertising roles to extending offers.
- Refine and improve HR workflows, particularly within the owned retail segment.
- Keep the Workday HRIS accurate and current to serve as a trusted data source.
- Engage directly with retail staff and visit locations in French-speaking Switzerland and Zurich to foster team cohesion.
- Contribute to various People & Culture projects at local, regional, and global levels.
- Provide backup coverage for the P&C Senior Coordinator in Germany and the Senior Payroll & Operations Specialist in Switzerland during leave.
- Oversee HR administration throughout the employee lifecycle, including payroll, insurance, and absence tracking.
Requirements
- A completed degree in human resources or a closely related discipline.
- Two to three years of professional experience in People & Culture or HR, preferably with exposure to administration and payroll.
- Solid understanding of employment legislation and standard HR procedures.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Proven capacity to work effectively within a collaborative team setting.
- Highly organized, adaptable, and meticulous in handling details.
- Familiarity with HR systems, with Workday experience being highly valued, alongside proficiency in MS Office.
- Fluency in German, French, and English to handle daily multilingual tasks.
