People & Culture Business Partner

The People & Culture Business Partner role supports international HR operations, acting as a trusted advisor to managers and employees while managing recruitment, employee relations, and compliance across multiple locations.

This position serves as a key liaison between the People & Culture team and the broader organization, providing practical guidance and ensuring smooth day-to-day coordination. The role balances hands-on execution with advisory support to deliver an excellent teammate experience and drive key HR initiatives across multiple locations and teams.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with leadership on performance management, engagement strategies, talent development, and organizational planning.
  • Provide advice and support on employee relations issues, ensuring fair, consistent, and legally compliant resolutions.
  • Oversee the full recruitment lifecycle, including advising on hiring needs, coordinating sourcing and interviews, and supporting offer preparation and onboarding.
  • Manage onboarding and offboarding processes to ensure smooth transitions and a positive experience for all team members.
  • Maintain accurate employee data in Workday, including contracts, benefits, absences, and personnel files.
  • Ensure compliance with employment legislation, company policies, and internal standards, and assist with audits and policy updates.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of People & Culture processes, tools, and templates to enhance efficiency and consistency.
  • Work closely with the broader People & Culture team on global projects, such as engagement surveys, learning programs, and process harmonization.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for employees and managers on People & Culture-related queries, providing timely and thoughtful support.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a generalist HR, HR Business Partner, or HR coordination role within an international setting.
  • Strong understanding of employment regulations and payroll processes.
  • Proficiency in Workday and the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Fluency in both English and German, spoken and written.
