People (HR) Business Partner 80-100%

Sunrise Communications AG seeks a People Business Partner to act as a strategic advisor for its Swiss Consumer division, bridging local leadership with the central HR team in Portugal.

This position serves as the primary link between business leaders in Switzerland and the dedicated People team based in Portugal. The role focuses on translating business objectives into effective people strategies, managing organizational change, and ensuring alignment across international locations.

Responsibilities

• Provide trusted advisory support to leaders within a specific Swiss business unit, focusing on organizational development and transformation.
• Convert business strategies into actionable people initiatives, managing the full employee lifecycle from performance reviews to talent retention and compensation.
• Utilize workforce analytics and data insights to inform business decisions and support strategic workforce planning.
• Act as the main point of contact between the Swiss headquarters and the People team in Portugal to ensure seamless collaboration.
• Participate in transformation projects aimed at enhancing organizational effectiveness and improving HR processes and tools.

Requirements

• At least three years of experience as a People Business Partner, with exposure to international collaboration and change management projects.
• Proven ability to manage stakeholders effectively within complex organizational structures.
• A proactive mindset with a willingness to take ownership and drive meaningful organizational changes.
• Strong communication skills, including the ability to simplify complex topics and use storytelling to engage audiences.
• Fluency in both German and English.

Nice to have

• Additional language proficiency in Italian, French, or Portuguese.
