Sr. Business People Partner (GTM)

Proton seeks a Senior Business People Partner to support its Go-To-Market organization in Geneva. The role focuses on partnering with Sales and Marketing leaders to build high-performing teams and navigate complex organizational challenges.

This position serves as a strategic advisor to the Sales and Marketing divisions. The incumbent will collaborate closely with leadership to elevate talent standards, resolve intricate organizational issues, and ensure that people decisions drive tangible business results during periods of scaling.

Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic guidance to Sales and Marketing executives regarding talent acquisition, performance metrics, and organizational structure.
  • Design and execute people initiatives aimed at enhancing team effectiveness and leadership capabilities.
  • Foster the creation of high-performance teams through rigorous performance management and talent review processes.
  • Consult on team architecture, scaling strategies, and role definition to ensure clarity and efficiency.
  • Identify root causes of organizational friction and develop practical, actionable solutions.
  • Guide leaders through transitions and rapid growth phases to maintain stability and momentum.
  • Elevate hiring standards by partnering with leaders to ensure recruitment choices support long-term team success.

Requirements

  • Six to ten years of experience in HR Business Partner or People Partner roles within the SaaS sector.
  • Solid understanding of French labor legislation.
  • Proven track record of supporting Sales, Marketing, or Go-To-Market functions.
  • Deep expertise in performance management, organizational design, and talent strategy.
  • Experience operating within high-growth or scaling environments.
  • Ability to coach, challenge, and influence senior leadership.
  • Strong diagnostic skills for analyzing complex people and organizational dynamics.
  • Demonstrated history of solving people-related problems and boosting team performance.
  • Comfort level working with ambitious goals and demanding leadership styles.

  • Knowledge of labor laws in European locations beyond France.
