The company seeks a Senior HR Business Partner to support the Technology, Operations, and Central Functions unit in Geneva. The role focuses on strategic HR partnership, change management, and organizational development within a global wealth management firm.
This position serves as the main HR advisor for the Technology, Operations, and Central Functions business unit in Switzerland. The professional will help shape HR strategy, manage organizational changes, and ensure alignment with broader business goals.
Responsibilities
- Gain a thorough understanding of the business unit's key objectives.
- Provide guidance and constructive feedback to senior leaders on talent management, performance, and organizational choices.
- Participate in leadership forums to discuss operating model evolution.
- Manage complex employee relations matters, including grievances, misconduct, harassment, and terminations.
- Act as a trusted resource for staff regarding career growth, performance evaluations, and conflict resolution.
- Anticipate the human side of major changes like restructuring, digitalization, and cultural shifts.
- Create and execute change management strategies that include communication, skill development, and stakeholder engagement.
- Foster employee engagement and commitment during transition periods.
- Evaluate the success of change initiatives and refine strategies using data and feedback.
- Oversee talent review processes within the business unit.
- Mentor managers to enhance their leadership skills.
- Spot skill gaps and collaborate on personalized development plans.
- Partner with the Learning & Development team to pinpoint training needs.
- Maintain consistent HR processes, including performance reviews, goal setting, and compensation cycles.
- Uphold social compliance, labor relations standards, and psychosocial risk prevention.
- Use HR analytics to generate actionable business insights.
Requirements
- At least three years of experience as an HR Business Partner in a challenging setting.
- Ability to analyze the business landscape and assess organizational impact.
- Strong advisory skills, including assertiveness and the courage to question established practices.
- Excellent facilitation, influencing, and communication abilities across all organizational levels.
- Focus on results with clear prioritization.
- Comfort working in ambiguous situations.
- Fluent in both French and English, written and spoken.
- Currently living in Switzerland or ready to relocate there.
