Lombard Odier IM seeks a mid-level HR Business Partner for its Technology, Operations, and Central Functions unit in Geneva. The role focuses on strategic partnership, change management, and organizational development within a global wealth management context.
This position serves as the primary strategic HR partner for the Technology, Operations, and Central Functions Business Unit in Switzerland. The incumbent will co-design HR strategies, anticipate organizational changes, and drive transformation initiatives that align with broader business objectives.
Responsibilities
- Gain a thorough understanding of the business unit's priorities to inform HR strategy.
- Advise senior leadership on organizational design, talent management, and performance frameworks, challenging the status quo when necessary.
- Participate in leadership committees to shape the evolution of the operating model.
- Manage complex employee relations matters, including grievances, misconduct, harassment, and dismissals.
- Serve as the main point of contact for staff regarding career growth, performance reviews, and conflict resolution.
- Anticipate the human impact of major transformations such as restructuring, digitalization, and cultural shifts.
- Design and execute change management plans that include communication strategies, capability building, and stakeholder engagement.
- Ensure employee engagement and buy-in during transition periods.
- Measure the effectiveness of change initiatives and adjust strategies based on data and feedback.
- Lead talent review processes within the business unit.
- Coach managers to enhance their leadership capabilities.
- Identify skill gaps and create tailored development plans for teams.
- Collaborate with the Learning & Development team to address training needs.
- Ensure consistency and quality in HR processes, including performance reviews, goal setting, and compensation cycles.
- Maintain social compliance and a healthy work environment, focusing on labor relations and psychosocial risk prevention.
- Use HR data and analytics to provide actionable insights to the business.
Requirements
- At least three years of experience as an HR Business Partner in a challenging environment.
- Ability to analyze the business environment and assess organizational impact.
- Assertiveness and courage to challenge existing practices and drive change.
- Strong facilitation, influencing, and communication skills across all organizational levels.
- Results-oriented mindset with clear prioritization abilities.
- Comfort working in ambiguous or evolving situations.
- Fluency in both French and English, spoken and written.
- Current residence in Switzerland or willingness to relocate.
