Implementation Specialist

Ultimo SA seeks a Mid-level Implementation Specialist for a full-time remote role in Switzerland. The position focuses on leading EAM implementations to help customers modernize asset operations and drive organizational transformation.

This position is dedicated to transforming how organizations manage their assets by leading implementation projects rather than providing support or maintenance. The specialist will guide clients in modernizing their maintenance operations using the Ultimo EAM platform, focusing on project leadership and driving user adoption to ensure successful outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Manage the complete EAM implementation lifecycle, starting from initial analysis and continuing through to go-live.
• Deliver projects on schedule, within defined scope and budget, while ensuring high client satisfaction.
• Facilitate workshops and advise clients on adopting best practices for asset and maintenance management.
• Convert business requirements into a scalable and high-performing Ultimo system configuration.
• Set up workflows, data structures, integrations, and reporting tools within the platform.
• Oversee several projects simultaneously, maintaining strict control over quality, timelines, and scope.
• Support user adoption through training sessions and direct assistance during the transition.
• Partner with consulting, product, and support teams to ensure cohesive delivery.
• Contribute to improving Ultimo’s implementation methodologies by sharing insights and lessons learned.

Requirements

• At least three years of practical experience implementing EAM or CMMS solutions such as SAP PM, IBM Maximo, eMaint, HxGN EAM, or Maintenance Connection.
• Background in consulting or project-based environments with a focus on close customer collaboration.
• Solid understanding of maintenance, asset management, and reliability principles.
• Ability to merge business insights with technical configuration to create practical, scalable solutions.
• Dedication to operational excellence, with a focus on simplifying, optimizing, and improving delivery processes.
• Interest in AI and emerging technologies, particularly how AI-driven optimization can enhance implementation efficiency and customer value.
• Clear and confident communication skills when interacting with customers and internal teams.
• Proactive approach to ownership and a strong commitment to ensuring customer success.
