Operations Intern

G&F CHATELAIN, a subsidiary of CHANEL SARL, is seeking a full-time Operations Intern based in Geneva. The role involves supporting the Senior Operations Coordinator, managing logistics flows, and processing orders within the ERP system.

This internship provides a business partnership with the Senior Operations Coordinator across three divisions. The intern will ensure continuous support for divisions and markets, identify business priorities, and coordinate daily logistics and claims to maintain smooth operations.

Responsibilities

• Act as an expert user of the ERP system to resolve all EDI-related issues.
• Handle order processing and coordinate triangular logistics operations, ensuring no customs delays.
• Process all daily operational flows within the ERP system.
• Proactively communicate with divisions and markets to prevent operational delays.
• Register all orders in the Export Department folder according to organizational standards.
• Process freight invoices through the FAP platform.
• Utilize all available platforms and intranet resources to obtain accurate information.
• Timely regularize transactions, including transfers, misdeliveries, and manual invoicing.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in an International Trade program or a related field at the Bachelor or Master level.
• Previous experience in the luxury sector or industry is preferred.
• Fluent proficiency in both English and French.
• B1 level proficiency in Spanish and Portuguese.
• Advanced Excel skills, including VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and complex formulas.
• Demonstrated responsiveness, reliability, and a strong attention to detail.
• Must have a mandatory internship agreement that is part of the study program.
• The internship must be required to obtain the degree.
• The internship must be validated by the awarding of academic credits.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of the Japanese language.
• Experience with other ERP systems such as SAP or AX.

What the company offers
