Operations Specialist, Scheduling and Cell Logistics

Bristol Myers Squibb seeks an Operations Specialist in Boudry to manage scheduling and logistics for autologous cellular immunotherapy products, ensuring seamless patient treatment journeys.

This position focuses on the daily coordination of patient treatment schedules for clinical and commercial autologous cellular immunotherapy manufacturing. The specialist acts as the central hub for resolving operational challenges related to transportation, distribution, and administration, ensuring a smooth end-to-end experience for patients while supporting broader project goals.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary liaison for manufacturing facilities, courier services, and external partners regarding scheduling matters.
• Develop and update patient timelines in close collaboration with production sites and third-party logistics providers.
• Track all phases of the patient journey, including collection, delivery, transport, and manufacturing steps.
• Identify operational bottlenecks and create actionable plans to resolve issues affecting the patient pathway.
• Communicate with internal teams and external stakeholders via telephone and email to address inquiries.
• Manage exception processes, including handling product returns, replacements, and out-of-specification items.
• Enter and keep accurate transactional data within the company’s dedicated scheduling platform.
• Record and document feedback received from various partners involved in the process.
• Lead daily operational activities and facilitate shift handovers on a rotating basis.
• Provide immediate support to external users accessing the scheduling portal.
• Triage and monitor incoming requests and issues logged in the case management system.

Requirements

• Hold a Bachelor’s degree or possess at least three years of relevant professional experience.
• Demonstrate fluent proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English.

Nice to have

• Previous background in customer service, call center operations, patient navigation, account management, logistics, or supply chain management is advantageous.
