Givaudan seeks an OT Technical Lead in Vernier to secure and optimize operational technology systems, ensuring compliance with global standards while leading convergence projects.
Reporting directly to the OT & Automation Manager within the Engineering & Maintenance team, this position is responsible for safeguarding the security, reliability, and regulatory compliance of all Operational Technology systems at the Vernier site. The role bridges the gap between IT and OT, driving digital transformation initiatives while maintaining rigorous safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Architect and validate OT network structures, including segmentation, DMZs, and firewall configurations.
- Deploy cybersecurity measures aligned with IEC 62443, NIST SP 800-82, ISO 27001, and ISA 95 frameworks.
- Perform risk assessments, threat modeling, and vulnerability scanning to identify potential weaknesses.
- Spearhead OT/IT convergence initiatives, such as cloud OT integration, data historian setups, and MES deployments.
- Maintain GMP compliance, adhering to 21 CFR Part 11, Annex 11, and Computerized System Validation (CSV) protocols.
- Execute IQ/OQ/PQ validation activities for computerized systems to ensure operational readiness.
- Plan, estimate, and execute OT projects, including network upgrades and cybersecurity hardening efforts.
- Oversee external partners, including cybersecurity auditors and system integrators.
- Manage OT budgets, covering both capital expenditures and operational maintenance costs.
- Mentor OT Engineers on best practices, focusing on secure coding and network design principles.
- Establish OT standards for password policies, patch management, and backup procedures.
- Lead incident response efforts for OT cybersecurity events.
- Stay current with emerging OT technologies like Zero Trust, Edge Computing, and AI-driven anomaly detection.
- Support digital transformation efforts, including Industry 4.0 and Smart Manufacturing projects.
- Collaborate with IT teams on hybrid OT/IT solutions, such as cloud-based monitoring systems.
Requirements
- Master's Degree in Operational Technology, Computer Science, or Cybersecurity.
- 7+ years of experience in OT environments, including industrial IT, networks, and cybersecurity.
- 3+ years of experience in a leadership role such as OT Engineer or Cybersecurity Specialist.
- Experience within GMP-regulated industries such as Pharmaceuticals, Food & Beverage, or Chemicals.
- Fluent in English and French.
