Payroll and Social Insurance Specialist - IWC Manufacture

The company seeks a Payroll and Social Insurance Specialist for a maternity leave cover role at its IWC Manufacture in Schaffhausen. The position focuses on payroll administration, social insurance, and HR support within a luxury manufacturing environment.

This maternity leave cover position supports the IWC Manufacture by managing payroll processes and social insurance administration. The role ensures accurate payroll documentation, handles employee-related inquiries, and provides administrative support to maintain smooth HR operations within the manufacturing facility.

Responsibilities

• Collect, verify, and enter both fixed and variable payroll data with precision
• Prepare and review all documents required for payroll processing
• Generate annual tax and salary documentation
• Verify the correctness of all payroll-related paperwork
• Handle work permit applications and renewals
• Support time management tasks including clocking corrections, counter monitoring, and shift scheduling
• Administer family allowance applications, changes, and cancellations
• Validate employee data within the Workday system
• Coordinate and conduct administrative onboarding procedures for new hires
• Issue unemployment, salary, and employment certificates as needed
• Assist employees with HR tools such as time management systems, self-service portals, and onboarding/offboarding processes
• Respond to employee questions regarding payslips, tax documents, social insurance, taxation, annual calendars, and hour balances

Requirements

• Hold a Swiss HR certificate
• Demonstrate fluent German and English communication skills
• Possess strong expertise in salary administration
• Show a high level of customer service orientation
• Work independently in dynamic environments
• Apply pragmatic prioritization and time management
• Demonstrate numerical agility and accuracy
• Maintain strong organizational skills and collaborative teamwork
