CERN seeks a People Experience Assistant to support student and graduate populations with HR processes. This entry-level, tax-free role is based in Geneva with a hybrid work model.
The Human Resources People eXperience and Engagement team is looking for an entry-level professional to help shape the employee journey at CERN. The successful candidate will provide tailored HR support and navigate the needs of a diverse community within a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
- Administer and communicate regarding various HR processes in a friendly and reliable manner.
- Advise students and graduates on different topics throughout their time at CERN.
- Prepare and deliver engaging presentations on HR subjects to diverse groups.
- Manage the administrative side of contractual actions for various populations efficiently.
Requirements
- Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality.
- Interest or background in delivering presentations and customer service roles.
- Strong written and oral communication skills, with the ability to adapt to different audiences.
- Ability to work within teams while maintaining a positive and constructive attitude.
- Accountability and a proactive approach to taking on tasks without needing prompts.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Fluency in spoken and written English, with a commitment to learn French.
- National of a CERN Member or Associate Member State.
- Maximum of two years of professional experience since graduation in Human Resources, Administration, or a related field.
- Highest educational qualification is a general secondary education diploma.
- No prior CERN fellow or graduate contract history.
- Applicants with a Bachelor's, Master's or PhD degree are not eligible.
