Junior HR Assistant (HR-PXE-2026-174-GRAE)

CERN seeks a Junior HR Assistant to support the People eXperience team in Geneva. This permanent role offers a tax-free stipend and focuses on administrative support for students and graduates.

The successful candidate will join the Human Resources People eXperience and Engagement team at CERN. The position is designed to shape the employee journey by providing tailored HR support, services, and policy guidance to a diverse community of students, graduates, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Manage administrative tasks and communications for HR processes with efficiency and a friendly approach.
• Advise students and graduates on regulations, integration procedures, and relevant HR processes.
• Create and deliver engaging presentations on various HR topics to different audiences.
• Handle the swift administration of contractual actions for multiple employee populations.

Requirements

• Must be a national of a CERN Member or Associate Member State.
• Have no more than two years of professional experience since graduation in HR, administration, or a related area.
• Hold a general secondary education diploma as the highest educational qualification.
• Have never held a CERN fellow or graduate contract previously.
• Demonstrate experience in handling sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality.
• Show interest or prior experience in delivering presentations.
• Possess interest or experience in customer service roles.
