Postdoctoral researcher in Nanotechnology / Surface Science / Polymer Science

The University of Zurich seeks a postdoctoral researcher to support projects on polymeric nanoparticles, coatings, and interdisciplinary collaboration. The role includes research planning, publication support, and student supervision.

This position supports research initiatives focused on the synthesis of polymeric nanoparticles and the development of their coatings. The researcher will contribute to project planning, scientific publications, interdisciplinary teamwork, and the teaching and supervision of master's students.

Responsibilities

• Help plan research activities related to creating new polymeric nanoparticles
• Support the development of coatings for nanoparticles
• Assist in preparing scientific publications
• Facilitate collaboration within interdisciplinary research teams
• Contribute to teaching activities and supervise master's students

Requirements

• A PhD in Chemistry, Material Sciences, Chemical Engineering, or a closely related discipline
• Demonstrated knowledge in Nanoscience, Polymer Science, or Surface Science
• Fluent proficiency in English
