Uzh seeks a Postdoctoral researcher in Schlieren to analyze protein abundance and structure in patient cohorts, collaborating with ETH Zurich and physician-scientists.
This position focuses on generating comprehensive protein abundance and structural data within large patient groups. The role necessitates close collaboration with proteomics specialists at ETH Zurich and physician-scientists to advance research objectives.
Responsibilities
- Produce global protein abundance and structural datasets from extensive patient cohorts.
- Conduct functional characterization of identified protein alterations.
- Verify findings using separate patient cohorts.
- Share research outcomes at scientific conferences held nationally and internationally.
- Draft and submit scientific manuscripts.
Requirements
- Hold a PhD in biology, medicine, or a closely related discipline.
- Demonstrate experience in proteomics, particularly applied to cancer patients.
- Possess strong technical proficiency in molecular and cell biology methods.
- Maintain a good command of the English language.
