This position is based within the Sarcoidosis Center of Excellence at the University Hospital Zurich. The primary objective is to advance personalized disease management by developing predictive tools for disease progression and treatment efficacy through immunological and data-driven research.
Responsibilities
- Conduct retrospective data analysis studies by combining clinical and biological datasets.
- Collaborate with laboratory and clinical staff to formulate research questions and design analytical strategies.
- Participate in prospective clinical trials and studies involving sarcoidosis patients.
- Utilize machine learning and artificial intelligence techniques to enhance the prediction of patient outcomes.
Requirements
- Possess a PhD in life sciences.
- Demonstrate strong expertise in immunology and data analysis.
- Show experience in handling and analyzing large-scale clinical and omics datasets.
- Be familiar with machine learning, artificial intelligence, and outcome prediction methodologies.
Nice to have
- Proficiency in Python and/or R for data analysis tasks.
- Fluency in the German language.
