This position is based in the LTS4 laboratory at EPFL and forms part of the broader SATURNA research initiative. The project aims to decode the complex, dynamic behavior of RNA and understand how these processes influence disease states at both cellular and molecular levels. The successful candidate will contribute to this interdisciplinary effort, which involves partners from several Swiss and international institutions.
Responsibilities
- Design and execute a high-quality research program in close collaboration with SATURNA partners.
- Provide mentoring and supervision to junior team members.
- Coordinate specific subprojects within the initiative.
- Engage in teaching activities.
- Contribute to scientific publications and participate in outreach events.
Requirements
- Hold a PhD in computational biology, artificial intelligence, computer science, electrical engineering, physics, or applied mathematics.
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to collaborative research with significant impact in biology or health.
- Possess an excellent research track record and publication history.
- Be fluent in English.
