Julius Bär seeks a Process Designer for its global Source-to-Pay transformation in Zürich. This mid-level role focuses on BPMN 2.0 modeling and end-to-end procurement process design.

Reporting to the Head of Procurement Technology & AI, this position drives the global Source-to-Pay transformation by converting stakeholder needs into comprehensive process designs. The role serves as a hands-on design expert, ensuring coherent global standards while acting as the primary reference for platform configuration teams and senior leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Convert requirements from project leads and stakeholders into clear, end-to-end procurement process designs.
  • Model Source-to-Pay workflows from initial demand to final payment using BPMN 2.0 standards.
  • Create semantic-to-system mappings that trace value chains through business capabilities into process structures.
  • Define bidirectional interactions between process designs and policy or governance gates.
  • Translate process models into operational procedures, SLAs, and supporting documentation.
  • Maintain consistency across regions to ensure a single, coherent global process standard.
  • Serve as the central reference point for end-to-end process design for both technical teams and senior stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Proven hands-on experience as a BPMN 2.0 process designer.
  • Demonstrable expertise in using ARIS for process modeling.
  • Experience mapping semantic structures to systems, including value chains and business capabilities.
  • Clear understanding of how process design interacts with policy and governance frameworks.
  • Solid knowledge of Source-to-Pay processes and the demand-to-payment lifecycle.
  • Ability to translate processes into procedures, SLAs, and operational documentation.
  • Working knowledge of SAP, specifically Ariba and/or S/4HANA.
  • Experience in process design within financial services or similarly regulated environments.
  • Fluent proficiency in English.

Nice to have

  • German language skills.
  • Relevant process or modeling certifications, such as OMG BPMN, Software AG ARIS, or recognized process management qualifications.
