Process Technician

Nolato Contour seeks a Junior Process Technician to set up molds and maintain production equipment for medical devices. This onsite role requires a high school diploma and basic technical skills.

Nolato Contour is a rapidly expanding manufacturer of medical equipment. In this position, the technician contributes to the production of critical life-saving devices for prominent global clients, ensuring that manufacturing processes run smoothly and safely.

Responsibilities

• Configure molds across various machines using specific tools and precise procedures.
• Access software to review job specifications, print work orders, and check the production timeline.
• Memorize the molding cycle to ensure consistent operation.
• Adhere strictly to all safety protocols.
• Diagnose and resolve minor equipment malfunctions.
• Execute Water Main Shutoff and Electrical Power Down/Power Up procedures as required.
• Conduct preventive maintenance on molds.
• Ready equipment for upcoming production tasks.
• Address machine alarms promptly.
• Notify the Team Lead or Lead Tech of any irregularities, such as elevated scrap rates.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
• Fundamental communication and mathematical abilities.

Nice to have

• Training or education in hydraulics, electronics, or mechanics.
• At least six months of experience within the plastics sector.
• Previous work experience in an FDA or ISO-regulated environment.
