Public Affairs & Government Relations Manager (100%)

Skyguide seeks a Public Affairs & Government Relations Manager to shape its political agenda in Switzerland, manage stakeholder relationships, and lead sustainability reporting efforts.

This position is responsible for guiding the company’s political and regulatory strategy within Switzerland. The role involves providing high-level advice on policy changes, fostering transparent reporting, and ensuring the organization remains a trusted partner through effective advocacy and stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

• Create and execute strategies for public affairs, including advocacy campaigns and plans for engaging with key stakeholders.
• Establish and nurture strong connections with political leaders, government authorities, industry groups, and other interest organizations.
• Track and evaluate political, legislative, and regulatory shifts at both the federal Swiss and European levels.
• Analyze how new policies affect the business and deliver practical recommendations to senior management.
• Draft position papers, briefings, speeches, and presentation materials for executive leadership.
• Oversee the planning, coordination, and publication of the Annual Report and the Sustainability (ESG) Report.
• Work closely with internal business units and the Executive Board to align public affairs activities with broader company goals.
• Assist in cross-functional projects that bridge public affairs with external stakeholder engagement.

Requirements

• A university degree in Political Science, Communications, Law, or a closely related discipline.
• Several years of professional experience in Swiss public affairs, advocacy, stakeholder engagement, or political communication.
• Deep knowledge of Swiss legislative processes, the political landscape, and public administration structures.
• An established professional network within relevant sectors.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze complex political and regulatory issues and translate them into clear business implications.
• Native-level proficiency in German.
• Strong professional proficiency in both French and English.
