SR Technics seeks a Quality Inspector for aircraft engine certification in Zürich. The role requires technical training, engine shop experience, and bilingual proficiency in German and English.
This position focuses on the final quality assurance and certification of specific aircraft engines, including CFM International LEAP and Pratt & Whitney PW1100 models. The inspector ensures all maintenance activities meet manufacturer standards and regulatory requirements within a global operational environment.
Responsibilities
- Verify documentation for incoming, disassembly, assembly, and final stages of LEAP and PW1100 engines according to manufacturer guidelines.
- Conduct final inspections and issue certifications for maintenance work performed on complete engines and individual modules.
- Process work orders efficiently while performing independent self-checks to ensure accuracy.
- Record all activities in compliance with applicable aviation regulations.
- Identify opportunities to enhance process quality and lower production expenses.
Requirements
- Completion of technical vocational training including all necessary engine type ratings.
- At least five years of hands-on experience working in an engine maintenance shop.
- Availability to work within a two-shift rotation schedule.
- Strong problem-solving capabilities combined with a focus on safety, quality, and cost efficiency.
- A work style that is independent, precise, responsible, and attentive to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
- Proficiency in MS Office and SAP software.
- German language skills at a minimum B2 level.
- English language skills at a minimum B2 level.

- Holding an S-License authorization to release engine work.
