Quotation Specialist

Scherer & Bühler AG seeks a Quotation Specialist in Uzwil to prepare and manage quotations for service projects and agreements, collaborating with sales and operations teams to ensure accurate and competitive pricing.

The company is looking for a professional to handle the technical and commercial aspects of quotations for service projects and agreements. This role involves working closely with sales and internal operations teams to develop accurate, competitive quotes that align with the company's pricing strategy while maximizing profitability and maintaining customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Manage the technical and commercial preparation of quotations for service projects and agreements.
• Analyze customer requirements and project opportunities in coordination with the sales manager.
• Develop quotation concepts by collaborating with sales, technology, engineering, and commercial services teams.
• Lead the development of quotations, including cost, scope, risks, and commercial terms, and support negotiations for complex service agreements.
• Gather necessary information from various departments, such as technical experts, tax, legal, commercial, and finance, to create accurate and compliant quotations.

Requirements

• University degree in business administration or engineering, or equivalent education.
• At least 3 years of experience as a Quotation Engineer or Specialist, or proof of equivalent skills.
• Technical knowledge to understand client processes, including overall transformation and operation processes, to identify customer needs.
• Strong understanding of pricing strategies, financial analysis, contract negotiation, and project management principles.
