Swiss Re seeks an intern for its Reporting Solutions team in Zürich to design UX/UI frameworks and dashboards on Palantir Foundry for finance operations.
This internship sits within the Group Finance Operations & Technology division, specifically the Reporting Solutions unit. The position focuses on creating finance reporting tools, analytics, and application solutions. A key objective is to support the development of a UX/UI framework and design toolkit for finance dashboards and applications built on the Palantir Foundry platform.
Responsibilities
- Assist in defining the framework for building applications and designing dashboards within Palantir Foundry.
- Examine financial reporting scenarios and process use cases to identify necessary UX/UI requirements.
- Establish and document design principles for user experience and interface tailored to finance professionals.
- Develop interaction concepts for analytics-driven applications and finance dashboards, including AI-supported features.
- Produce clickable prototypes and mock-ups to demonstrate recommended user flows and design patterns.
- Build a reusable design toolkit for application engineers and developers based on various inputs.
- Work with stakeholders from finance, reporting, and engineering teams to validate design concepts.
Requirements
- Currently studying or recently graduated in UX/UI design, human-computer interaction, information systems, data visualization, or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated interest in finance, analytics, reporting, and AI-supported applications.
- Capability to simplify complex topics into clear, user-friendly designs.
- Structured and analytical approach to work, combined with strong communication abilities.
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative, cross-functional environment.
