Gravis Robotics AG is developing the next generation of autonomous excavation technology. This position centers on building the core autonomy stack for excavators, with a specific emphasis on perception, planning, and control systems designed for unstructured outdoor environments.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement algorithms for perception and planning tailored to autonomous excavation tasks.
  • Partner with hardware and simulation teams to deploy and validate autonomy features in real-world field conditions.
  • Support the development of control systems that ensure heavy machinery operates with precision and safety.
  • Diagnose and refine autonomy performance to address challenges encountered in actual operational settings.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated expertise in robotics, computer vision, or control systems.
  • Hands-on experience programming in C++ and Python.
  • Solid working knowledge of ROS and ROS2 frameworks.
  • Comfortable working on-site within a dynamic, fast-paced setting.
