Bota Systems AG seeks a mid-level Robotics Engineer for Sales in Zürich to drive global adoption of robotic sensing systems, manage key accounts, and expand the partner network.
This position focuses on expanding the global footprint of Bota Systems' advanced robotic sensing solutions. The role reports directly to the CEO and supports the company's automation and AI business initiatives across high-growth sectors.
Responsibilities
- Expand the customer pipeline for existing products through established channels and partners.
- Plan and host educational sessions, such as webinars and workshops, for clients and the wider robotics community.
- Develop content and communication strategies for current and future product releases.
- Build and sustain strong client relationships by providing expert support and deep product knowledge.
- Identify and pursue new market opportunities alongside leadership.
- Expand and manage the network of OEMs, distributors, and systems integrators.
- Analyze manufacturing and intralogistics trends to shape targeted marketing efforts.
- Track competitor movements and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Generate qualified leads for the sales funnel using minimal budget and modern CRM tools.
Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, Robotics, or a related field.
- Proven experience managing key accounts.
- Strong self-motivation and ability to work autonomously.
- Ability to collaborate effectively in international, diverse teams.
- Sales background in robotics or industrial automation, ideally within high-tech manufacturing or healthcare.
- Customer-centric, organized, and proactive mindset with excellent communication abilities.
- Willingness to travel up to 40%, primarily in the DACH region and USA.
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
