Solvias seeks a mid-level Scientist for Biological HPLC in Switzerland. The position focuses on developing and validating analytical methods for complex biomolecules within a GMP setting.
This position is dedicated to creating and qualifying reliable High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) techniques for intricate biological substances within a Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) framework. The primary objective is to deliver precise analytical data for antibodies, proteins, and peptides while fostering strong technical collaborations through scientific proficiency and a client-oriented approach.
Responsibilities
- Developing and implementing HPLC protocols within a GMP-compliant laboratory setting.
- Designing and executing feasibility assessments, method creation, and validation processes specifically for antibodies, proteins, and peptides.
- Working in close coordination with laboratory personnel, reviewers, and fellow scientists.
- Drafting and evaluating reports, validation documentation, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Establishing reliable partnerships with clients and communicating analytical outcomes and insights.
Requirements
- Proven experience utilizing High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC).
- Academic or professional background in biochemistry, life sciences, or a related discipline.
- Hands-on experience conducting feasibility studies, method development, and validation activities.
- Fluent proficiency in English.
- Strong interpersonal abilities, a collaborative team spirit, and effective problem-solving skills.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with Chromeleon software.
- Ability to communicate in German.
