Senior AI Engineer

Exeon Analytics AG seeks a Senior AI Engineer to lead the design and improvement of AI solutions for cybersecurity products, working remotely or from their Zürich office.

As a key member of the Development team, this position collaborates with developers, data scientists, and cybersecurity experts to integrate AI capabilities into the company's product portfolio. The engineer will take the lead in designing, building, and evaluating AI projects while establishing best practices for responsible deployment.

Responsibilities

• Spearhead AI initiatives focused on NDR and UEBA products.
• Create and maintain RAG pipelines, prompt engineering frameworks, and evaluation systems.
• Partner with security analysts to convert cybersecurity workflows into AI-driven solutions.
• Establish and enforce standards for model evaluation, safety, and responsible AI deployment.
• Mentor colleagues and help foster a robust AI engineering culture within the team.

Requirements

• Over five years of experience in software or ML engineering, specializing in NLP, LLMs, or applied AI.
• Proven track record of building and deploying LLM-powered applications, such as RAG systems, agents, or fine-tuning pipelines.
• Strong proficiency in Python.
• Deep understanding of the complete ML lifecycle, from initial prototyping to production monitoring.
• Fluent command of the English language.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with tools like Opencode, Openterminal, LangChain, or LlamaIndex.
• Experience collaborating in cross-functional teams, preferably within a fast-paced product environment.
• Background in cybersecurity or network detection technologies.
