Hamilton Services AG seeks a Senior AI Software Engineer to blend strong coding skills with practical Large Language Model implementation in production environments.

This position merges core software engineering with applied Artificial Intelligence, focusing on integrating modern AI capabilities like Large Language Models into tangible products. It is a hands-on engineering role situated at the crossroads of development, AI application, and product innovation. The successful candidate will help define how AI is embedded into existing and upcoming offerings while enhancing internal tools and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, test, and deploy software solutions that are ready for production use.
• Drive the strategic integration of AI technologies across various product lines and team workflows.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline with an AI focus.
• At least five years of professional experience in software development alongside AI or Machine Learning projects.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as C#, Python, TypeScript, Java, or Go.
• Hands-on experience implementing Large Language Models, AI APIs, and their integrations.
• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical teams and business stakeholders.
• A mindset oriented toward mentoring and coaching colleagues.
• A strong curiosity and commitment to continuous learning.
• English language proficiency at the C1 level.

Nice to have

• Written and spoken German skills at the B2 level.
